Watchung is a diverse and vibrant community with people from many different backgrounds and ways of life. We want our Borough to respect and reflect those values.

Local government is stronger when everyone is represented. We want to be able to provide a voice for the entire Borough of Watchung, regardless of political affiliation. Our goal is to include the community is key decisions that affect the future of the Borough. We also want to encourage open dialogue with our neighbors. We truly believe making the right decisions for the community comes from understanding the issues and the community’s perspective.

Albin was part of the leadership team of the hospital as it navigated the COVID pandemic, developing processes and infrastructure to care for the community as it navigated this difficult time. In his role in the Emergency Department, he also worked closely with pre-hospital teams to make sure their processes were up to date and staff members were protected as they responded to families in need. Our goal is to ensure our first responders have all they need to keep the community safe and healthy, including police and fire response.

We want our neighborhood to remain attractive for families looking for their forever home. This includes a focus on our public schools, access to resources for families, keeping taxes low, keeping the public spaces beautiful and accessible, maintaining infrastructure, and ensuring access to forms of affordable

housing.
